A tennis club for Malton, Norton and the surrounding villages.
Malton Tennis Club is situated on Old Maltongate between Malton and Old Malton. Our exact location is on the corner of East Mount, opposite the Old Lodge Hotel. We have 5 grass courts, 2 hard courts and 2 old shale courts which are due for resurfacing.
We share a clubhouse with Malton Squash and Bowls Clubs and you will find a very friendly atmosphere here.
The form for 2012 membership is now available for download from our membership page.
The first Junior event of the year is our Easter Fun Day.
This event is open to juniors whether they are members or not. It is free for our members, non-members will need to pay £8.
Please everyone remember to bring refreshments (food and drink)!
If you plan to attend then you can just turn up on the day, but if possible please let us know in advance by
emailing our coaches.
We are holding another Mixed Doubles competition for adult members (and advanced juniors) on Sunday 15th April - same format as the competition organised back in September.
Kevin Dunne is once again kindly organising the event - it will start at 10.30am and entry fee is £2.
There will be a cup for the winning team (to be returned for the next competition) and a smaller trophy to keep for each team member.
The format will be similar to that played in 2011 and everyone really enjoyed this occasion last year, so make sure that you
don't miss out this time around!
Anyone who wants to play should email Kevin.
The annual Junior Davis Cup (2011) was held on 2nd June and was a great suucess. This year, for the first time, Hays Travel very generously
sponsored the event. helping to make the day such a great success, and we are hoping that it is the beginning of a continuing partnership.
For details of how to help the club by taking advantage of a free membership offer with British Tennis please see
the information on our news page.
The more of our members that jojn British Tennis the better it is for the club and our relationship with the LTA!
At the moment the future location of our club is uncertain. For more information about possible developments view the Club Future page.
