Positions on the ladder at the start of the playing period will be randomly selected.
Matches will consist of one set, with a tie break at 6-6. Players to provide own balls.
A player may challenge either of the two players immediately above him/her in the ladders: e.g. player 8 in Ladder 1 can challenge player 6 and 7; player 1 in Ladder 2 can challenge the bottom two players in Ladder 1. If the challenger wins he/she exchanges position on the ladder with the loser.
A player who does not appear at the place agreed for the match within 20 minutes of the time arranged may forfeit the match, please contact ladder referee for decision.
A player not accepting the challenge will loose his/her place on the ladder to the challenger.
Location of matches is to be negotiated between the players involved.
When a challenge is made the match should be played within 7 days. If this does not happen the result may be determined by the ladder referee according to the circumstances of the situation.
Results of all matches must be e mailed by the winner to the ladder co-ordinator within 48 hours of the match. Failure to do this will result in the match being discounted.
The ladder will be available on the club web site and will be updated at least every 7 days. A copy will also be displayed on the club notice board.
The period of the ladder duration will be at the discretion of the ladder organisers.
All players will be issued with other ladder players contact details prior to the commencement of the ladder.
The ladder becomes active on 1st April 2007.
